Jordan Ray from Rockledge, FL advances to the Under18 Select Camp after completing the 2004-2007 Nationals Camp.

The Girls Under-18 Select Camp features players born in 2004 and 2005. The camp will help in determining the players selected for the Under-18 National Festival in Blaine, MN, in August and the U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team that will compete in the 2022 IIHF Under-18 Women’s World Championship. The 2021 USA Hockey BioSteel Girls U-18 Select Player Development Camp is being held July 16-22, at Herb Brooks Hockey Center in St. Cloud, Minn.

Cindy Friedman of the SAHOF Board and Administrator for the Florida Alliance program said, “Jordan Ray just changed the future for the Florida Alliance Girls Program. This is quite the accomplishment, girls start out at the District tryouts, hundreds of girls competing for MultiDistricts and the National Camps selections. Jordan, Alexis, Hailey, Zoe and Danielle made it to the National Camp. USA Hockey just announced the Under 18 Select Camp, Jordan Ray made the cut. Jordan scored 3 goals in 4 games paving her own way now to the Under 18 Select Camp. This is where all the USA Hockey National Team selections start. We wish Jordan all the best, she has worked so hard representing girls elite hockey in Florida on and off the Ice.”

Jordan Ray is a 2021 Yale University D-I commit this year scoring over 130 pts this season for the Alliance. For more information from USA Hockey, https://teamusa.usahockey.com/news_article/show/1172366-girls-16-17-players-selected-for-under-18-select-camp
