Grace was born in 2010 in Washington, DC to Canadian and American parents. She currently lives in Jacksonville, FL and attends eighth grade at San Juan del Rio Catholic School, where she also serves as a student-elected School Ambassador. Grace is a proud member of the 14UAA Florida Alliance. She began playing co-ed hockey at the age of 6 with the Wells Warriors in College Park, MD. As a member of the Capitol Corridor Hockey League (CCHL), Grace progressed with the Warriors through Mites and Squirts, and was an integral part of her team’s 10U league-winning victory in the 2020 Joe Loschiavo Memorial Cup. In 2021, Grace was named to the all-girls 12U Montgomery Blue Devils team, the DC Selects travel tournament team, and the elite group of the Washington Pride summer camp program. Upon moving to northern Florida in late 2021, Grace joined the Orlando Express of the Southern Girls Hockey League (SGHL), where she helped her team win the 2022 12U SGHL Championship. In addition to playing all-girls hockey, Grace continues to play co-ed hockey with the Jacksonville Junior Icemen travel team. During her first year with the team, she switched from playing right wing to defense. As a Defenseman, Grace was voted MVP by her teammates during their win at the 2023 Jax Winter Escape Tournament, and was a key player in their second-place finish in the 2022-2023 SAHOF State Championship. During the off season, Grace enjoys keeping her skills sharp through tournament play. She is a member of the 2023 14UAA Lizard Queens, and was the youngest goal-scorer for her team in the 13-19U Division of the SGHL Summer Mixer. Grace also took part in the Washington Capitals ALL-CAPS ALL-HER Summer Camp, where she was coached by Team USA Olympic Gold medalist Haley Skarupa. When not on the ice, Grace enjoys playing several other sports and is a Varsity member of her school’s basketball, soccer and golf teams. She is also an honor roll student and a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
