The Alliance U19 Girls battled their way to a championship weekend, finishing strong to claim the Rush Hockey Tournament title.
The weekend opened with a 1–1 tie against the Princeton Tigers, followed by a tough loss to Team Alaska in a game where Alliance controlled play but couldn’t capitalize on their chances. Despite dominating puck possession in a 1–0 loss to the Dallas Stars Elite, the team stayed focused and continued to build momentum.
Alliance turned it on in the semifinals, defeating Princeton 4–1 with a dominant performance. In the championship game, the team delivered its best effort of the weekend, controlling play from start to finish and earning a 4–1 victory over Team Alaska to take home the title.
Special recognition goes to defense Grace Comiskey, who was outstanding all weekend with her poise, puck movement, and strong defensive play, and forward Kingston Golding, who consistently created offensive pressure and made an impact in key moments throughout the tournament, despite using borrowed hockey gear due to the airlines losing her equipment bag.
After a slow start, the team found its rhythm and finished the weekend playing its best hockey, a complete team effort and a well-earned championship.
