On Sunday, the Alliance Girls 14, 16, and 19 teams took on the Girl Predators in the 1st ever fitness challenge. Both groups competed in the Beep Test, Broad Jump, Triple Broad Jump and 5-10-5 Shuttle run. The weather turned out great for the event with both programs having a lot of fun sharing another avenue to provide fitness and a challenge. Kahlie Singletary of Nashville and Lorenda Prier both commented that the girls exceeded their expectations and look forward to tracking each teams progress for the next rematch. Lorenda is the conditioning and goalie coach for all the girls Alliance teams. She has really stepped up the physical conditioning to enhance the girls speed, strength and injury prevention. Thank you to all the volunteers and athletes for making this all possible.
